Custom Dictionary #
If there are words in the conversation that are not being transcribed correctly, you can add them to the custom dictionary. This allows the system to recognize these words and transcribe them accurately in future calls. Generally mis-transcribed words are product names or services that used by the customer that the transcription engine has no knowledge of.
To add a word to the dictionary, press the 'Add Custom Dictionary Entry' button and then populate the following settings on the form:
Replacement
This is the word that was incorrectly transcribed and needs to be replaced. This is a required field.
Mis-transcriptions
Add one or more mis-transcriptions of the word. These are the variations of the word that have been observed in transcriptions and need to be replaced with the correct word.
Ignore case
When this option is selected, the system will ignore case when matching mis-transcriptions. The setting will apply to all mis-transcriptions added for the word.
Default - Enabled
Include inflections
When this option is selected, the system will try to match different grammatical forms of the mis-transcribed word (e.g. plural, past tense)

Inflections included 's', 'ed', 'ing', 'ly', 'ies', 'ied'.

Custom Dictionary entries only affect transcriptions going forward. Previously transcribed conversations will not be updated with the new corrections.
