Installation & Configuration Overview #
To configure a user with Connect for Clio, configuration within both Dimensions and Clio is required.
To perform this configuration, the following user accounts will be required:
- A user account with 'Manage Users' & 'Manage Billable Items' permissions on the Dimensions portal
- A user account with permissions on the Clio portal
- Firewall/Router administrative access to allow connectivity to the
https://*.myreports.cloud
domain (if currently restricted)
Please make sure you have access to all these systems before starting the configuration process.
External Communication #
Connect communicates with the Dimensions services for authentication and call events. Connections to Dimensions Services are made from the user's browser.
Any users of Connect will require access to the following domain:
https://*.myreports.cloud
Licensing #
For a user to be able to have access to the Connect client, they will need to have been assigned a 'CRM User' licence on their Dimensions user account.
