Requirements #

This section outlines the requirements for running ~.UcClient.~ for Windows.

~.Dimensions.~ #

Users must be assigned the following roles/permissions in order to use ~.UcClient.~:

• A valid User Access Type (not 'None')
• Website Access
• ~.UcClient.~ Client
• ~.UcClient.~ Softphone (Optional)

Some of the roles above are billable items on the ~.Dimensions.~ system. Please contact your reseller for information on pricing.

Operating System #

~.UcClient.~ is supported on the following operating system (only 64bit operating systems are supported):

• Microsoft Windows 10 1903 (10.0.18362.0) release or higher.
• Microsoft Windows 11

External Communication #

~.UcClient.~ communicates with ~.Dimensions.~ services for authentication and call events. Connections to ~.Dimensions.~ services are made from the user's computer using the standard HTTPS port (443).

If outgoing internet access is restricted for users, ~.UcClient.~ will need to be granted access to the following domain:
