General Settings #

These settings control various system level aspects of the portal.

Portal - Feature Visibility #

By default, all features of the solution are displayed to users. In order to simplify the interface for users, specific areas of the solution can be hidden if they are not relevant. To hide a specific feature, simply uncheck the relevant options.

Location #

Setting	Description	Default
Country	The country selected here will control how phone numbers are formatted in reports and any other regional based changes.	N/A
Time Zone	When running reports, call/status times will be converted to this time zone. In addition, real-time daily stats will be reset at midnight base on this timezone.	Time Zone of your Customer Account
Session Timeout	Users will be logged out of the portal if inactive beyond this duration.	120

Compliance #

For companies where customer/client data is sensitive, it can be important to ensure that call information stored on the system is not personally identifiable. This includes ensuring that someone can not lookup a name using a phone number as search parameter or visa versa.

Call Tags #

Call tagging is a flexible feature designed to allow custom information to be added to call records, giving them context outside the communications platform and improving call reports.

This section provides information on the call tag configuration options. For information on how call tags can be used, refer here.

Creating Call Tags #

Call tags can be managed from the 'Settings' area of the portal. Any user with the 'Manage Customer Settings' permission can add or edit tags.

Dispositions

Dispositions #

Dispositions is feature designed require certain types of calls to be given call results. These 'Dispositions' (or lack of) can then be reported on through the reporting and dashboard/wallboard features.

This section provides information on how dispositions work and how they are configured.

How Dispositions Work #

Dispositions work in a similar way to call tag lists, but instead of being optional, they are required. Each disposition instance created requires a filter to be provided. Any call which matches the filter requires dispositioning.

Workspaces #

This section provides access to manage the different workspaces that have been created for users. Workspaces provide environments for users to create and share reports with other users of the system.
